The Utrecht Vocal Soloists are an ensemble of nine young singers, all of them former pupils of baritone Udo Reinemann. Not only do they profit from Udo Reinemann's own experience as a world-famous international concert singer and from his great pedagogic gifts, but also from his adventurous musical spirit in performing repertory for various vocal ensembles. Udo Reinemann himself sings the solo part In Schubert's haunting Ständchen (serenade) and the tenor solo parts in Nachthelle, Mondenschein and Sehnsucht are sung by tenor Kor-Jan Dusseljee, who works at the great German opera houses as a Mozart singer of the highest esteem.
